Choose according to your measuring task dry or wet measurement!
For dry measurement please order lenses according to the desired measuring range.
For wet measurement please select one of the wet dispersion units, lenses according to the desired measuring range and if required ultrasonic box separately.
Lenses with the same magnification are identical for both dry and wet measurements and can be used for both measurement methods.

Lenses for dry measurement of powders and bulk solids
Choose according to your measurement task the right lens!
In order to use the ANALYSETTE 28 ImageSizer you will need at least one telecentric lens. Four telecentric lenses with different measuring ranges are available. Order the desired lenses separately according to the measuring task. They can all be retrofitted at any time, and are easy to replace.

Telecentric lens – 0.157x with feeder 50 mm and sample funnel 2000 ml (measuring range ~ 90 µm – 20 mm, depth of field ~ 27 mm), for dry measurement of powders and bulk solids.
Telecentric lens – 0.243x with feeder 50 mm and sample funnel 2000 ml (measuring range ~ 60 µm – 14.5 mm, depth of field ~ 11 mm), for dry measurement of powders and bulk solids.
Telecentric lens – 0.35x with feeder 20 mm and sample funnel 250 ml (measuring range ~ 40 µm – 9 mm, depth of field ~ 5 mm), for dry measurement of powders and bulk solids.
This telecentric lens - 0.35x can also be used with the wet dispersion units A-28 for wet measurement of suspensions and emulsions (measuring range ~ 40 μm - 3 mm, depth of field ~ 5 mm).

Dispersion units and lenses for wet measuring of suspensions and emulsions
Select one wet dispersion unit and according to your measurement task the right lens and accessories!
Wet dispersion is particularly suitable for fine particles, poorly flowing, fine-agglomerating or sticky materials, which do not react in water or other liquids. Select an ultrasonic box if you frequently measure sample material that tends to agglomerate.
Wet dispersion units and Ultrasonic box
Wet dispersion unit incl. flow measuring cell for automatic dispersion, volume 150-500 ml - suitable for dispersion liquids like water, alcohol and many organic solvents, incl. accessory case with FRITSCH test powder, cleaning sand, tenside and much more.
A powerful centrifugal pump with individually adjustable speed ensures optimal transport of even heavy, high density particles in the wet dispersion unit – enabling fast, uniform distribution of the sample material in the entire circuit. SOP’s for easy operation, the completely free programmable dispersion process, the automatic cleaning ensure fast and reproducible measuring results.
All parts inside the wet dispersion unit, which come into contact with the dispersion medium are made of high-quality stainless steel 316L, PTFE, FFKM, FEP, POM, BK7 glass and FKM. The connection hoses and the drain hose are made of silicone.

It allows for an even finer adjustment of the wet dispersion to the respective sample material and operates extremely quietly with less than 45 dB.
All parts inside the ultrasonic box, which come into contact with the dispersion medium are made of high-quality stainless steel 316L and FFKM.

Easy cleaning and exchange of the measuring cell
The measuring cell for the ANALYSETTE 28 ImageSizer is simply inserted from the front into the instrument as a practical cartridge and can be opened without tools with an eccentric lock. Its cleaning is quite convenient by an easily re-insertable outer seal. And also the exchange of the measuring cell glasses can be done any time completely uncomplicated.

Individual instrument online trainings are available. To inspect your Particle Sizer to ensure proper function FRITSCH reference materials are available. For certified calibration of the Particle Sizer ANALYSETTE 28 ImageSizer, two different calibration plates are offered. Please choose the appropriate calibration plate according to the lens used. Also certifaction forms can be ordered.
